Rice JV falls on the road to Tidehaven

The Rice JV traveled to Tidehaven and lost 36-14, on Thursday, Sept. 21.

In the first quarter, Tidehaven went ahead 7-0 before the Raiders answered on a 64-yard pass from AJ Jenkins to Isaiah Castillo. Hayes Dingler kicked the extra point, and the score was 7-7 at the end of the first quarter.

Tidehaven scored twice in the 2nd quarter, making the halftime score 22-7. Tidehaven scored two more times in the fourth quarter before Rice’s Miguel Marquez scored on a 46-yard run. Dingler once again made the PAT making the final score 36-14. The Raiders are now 1-2 for the season and will host the Brazos Cougars on Thursday, Sept. 28 at the Swamp.
