SATURDAY, JULY 22

At approximately 7:29 a.m., Robert Villanueva was dispatched to E. Second Street in Rock Island in reference to an assault. After further investigation, Meadow Renee Tesch, 20, of Sheridan, and Colt Charles Valenta, 34, of Rock Island, were arrested for assault causing bodily injury to a family member, Class A Misdemeanor. Case cleared by adult arrest.

At approximately 2:46 p.m., Ryan Ohl was dispatched to the 7000 block of Hwy 71 in Garwood regarding a vehicle fire. The cause of the fire is believed to be a mechanical issue. The Garwood Volunteer Fire Department extinguished the fire before Ohl’s arrival.

SUNDAY, JULY 23

At approximately 5 p.m., Ryan Ohl responded to Hwy 71 and FM 950 near Garwood in reference to a reckless driver. After further investigation, Dimitric Knight, 39, of Houston, was arrested for an outstanding warrant for accident involving serious bodily injury, 3rd Degree Felony. Case cleared by arrest.

MONDAY, JULY 24

At approximately 8:40 a.m., Santa Nino was dispatched to Sheriff’s Office in reference to an assault that occurred on Vogelsang Road north of Columbus. After further investigation, Brayden Clark Brunner, 31, of Columbus, was arrested on a warrant for family violence assault impede breath/ circulation, 3rd degree felony. Case cleared by arrest.

At approximately 3:15 p.m., Santa Nino was dispatched to Brunes Mill Road in Columbus in reference to a death investigation. Justice of the Peace Pct. 3, Don Clark, arrived on scene to conduct an inquest. Case is pending results of an autopsy conducted at the Travis County Medical Examiner’s Office.

TUESDAY, JULY 25

The Weimar Police Department arrested several suspects on warrants and brought them to the Colorado County Detention Facility. It was later determined that one of the suspects provided a false name and date of birth. The real identity of the wanted suspects was determined. Nathan Zwahr submitted affidavits on the suspect to Justice of the Peace Pct. 1, Billy Hefner, requesting the issuance of arrest warrants for fail to identify fugitive from justice, fraudulent use or possession of identifying information, and tampering with government record. Case is pending issuance and apprehension.

At approximately 7:59 p.m., Jacob Gorman initiated a traffic stop on IH-10 WB near Alleyton. After further investigation, Oscar Molina, 25, of Alleyton, was arrested for possession of controlled substance pg 1<1gstate jail felony. Case cleared by adult arrest.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 26

At approximately 11:37 p.m., Frankie Cantu was dispatched to Travis Street in Alleyton in reference to a fight in progress. After further investigation, one subject was issued a criminal trespass warning. Case cleared by report.

THURSDAY, JULY 27

At approximately 11:36 a.m., Jeffery Argo was dispatched to Piney Woods Road in Alleyton in reference to property damage. Case will be inactive until additional leads can be developed.

At approximately 12:50 p.m., Ryan Ohl was dispatched to Splashway in Sheridan in reference to a fraud case. Upon arrival, Ohl spoke to the management team. Case is pending further investigation.

At approximately 2:34 p.m., David Wiese heard dispatch send out a blind call in reference to a possible intoxicated driver traveling from Sealy to Eagle Lake on FM 3013. The Eagle Lake Police Department was able to make contact with the driver at the Shell station located at the intersection of FM 3013 and Hwy 90A. After further investigation, one subject was arrested for several charges by the Eagle Lake Police Department. Wiese assisted with the arrest. Case cleared by assist.

FRIDAY, JULY 28

At approximately 3 p.m., while Jeffery Argo was working an extra job at Splashway, Argo received a fraud report from the owner of the business. There is a possible suspect in this case. This case is linked to numerous other fraud cases at the business. Case is pending.

At approximately 1:45 p.m., Andrew Weido made contact with a complaint in reference to unauthorized charges attempted on a business credit account. The case is active.

At approximately 2:57 a.m., Randy Mican was dispatched to the 5600 block of W 2nd Street in Sheridan in reference to criminal mischief. The investigation revealed an individual had cut four tires on the complainant’s vehicle. Case pending further investigation.

At approximately 4:30 p.m., Santa Nino was dispatched to Schneider Lube and Tire in reference to fraud. The victim was refunded the amount of loss. Case will be inactive until additional information can be developed.

SATURDAY, JULY 29

At approximately 11 p.m., Zane Blaha hit metal road debris on Hwy 71 WB near the DPS office. A report was taken for vehicle damage.

At approximately 7:16 p.m., Zane Blaha was dispatched to the 3500 block of FM 2434 in reference to theft of a central heating unit. It is unknown when the theft occurred. Case will be inactive until additional information can be developed.

SUNDAY, JULY 30

At approximately 1:44 a.m., Zane Blaha was dispatched to the IH-10 EB rest area in reference to a family disturbance. No charges were filed. The parties were separated. Case cleared.

At approximately 8:10 a.m., Randy Mican was dispatched to the 1900 block of CR 79 in reference to a missing horse. The horse was located a couple of days later. Case cleared by report.

At approximately 11:58 a.m., Randy Mican was dispatched to an animal call in the 3600 block of CR 106. It was reported that a group of dogs had killed some Barbados. Case is pending further investigation.
