WEIMAR — The Weimar VFW Auxiliary Post 5875 honored nurses with 100 dozen cookies on Jan. 25.

The cookies were delivered to the Parkview Manor, First Home Health, Van Houten Clinic, The Homestead Assisted Living, Youens and Duchicela Clinic, and the La Grange VA Clinic.

The auxiliary group is planning more community initiatives this year, including student-made valentines for hospitalized veterans in February.
