COLUMBUS — Two businesses — a restaurant and a boutique – are getting recognized by the Columbus Chamber of Commerce during upcoming ribbon cuttings.
“All of us at the Chamber are excited to welcome these two businesses to Columbus and our Chamber family,” said Janet Hollmann, the Chamber events director. “It’s always a great day when we can conduct a ribbon cutting for a new business, renovated business or new Chamber member.”
The Magnolia Society, a restaurant at 920 Milam St., will be welcomed to town by Chamber members at 3 p.m. Sept. 21.
The second ribbon cutting and a soft opening is 10:30 a.m. Sept. 22 at Lola & Co. Boutique, 512B Spring St., just a half block off the courthouse square.
A grand opening is 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 23.
One of the lines at the boutique, Headbands of Hope, ensures that for every headband purchased at the store, another is donated to a children’s hospital.
