Junior High Lady Cards kick off against H-ville, move on to Yoakum

The Columbus Junior High Lady Cardinals opened the season on Thursday, Aug. 24th at home against Hallettsville.

The scrimmage provided high intensity and enthusiasm from both players and fans. The CJHS 7th B-team lost 1225, 19-25. The 7th grade A-team won both sets 2517, 26-24. The 8th grade B-team won both sets 2518, 25-20. The 8th A-team defeat over Hallettsville ended the evening 25-10, 25-13.

The CJHS Lady Cards played their next match against Yoakum on Aug. 31 away from home.

The 7B team lost both sets 25-19, 25-18. 8B won both sets 25-21, 25-22. 7A Lady Cards defeated Yoakum in 3 sets 25-21, 23-25, and 15-9. The 8A team won 25-11, 25-13.

The CJHS Lady Cards will play at Rice on Wednesday, September 6th, at 4:00.
