BRUCE KOEHN

Bruce A. Koehn, 60, of Weimar, Texas, lost his battle with cancer Aug. 30, 2023.

He was born Oct. 26, 1962, in Pasadena, Texas, and was raised in Houston. He graduated from South Houston High School.

For 20 years he brought much joy and happiness as an event coordinator at the Phoenix Event Facility.

Survivors include husband Kenneth Hodde; sisters Lisa (Mary) Koehn of Pearland, Texas, and Karen (Bob) Hannan of Chillicothe, Missouri; niece Melissa (Daniel) Perry of Chillicothe, Missouri, and their children Gracie, Emma, Owen and Jackson; and niece Christine (David) Flores of Springfield, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Mildred (Liska) Koehn.

A graveside service is 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 7 at Odd Fellows Rest Cemetery in Columbus with the Rev. John Hunsicker officiating.

Honorary pallbearers include Nora, Ann, Janet and Melissa.
