The Columbus Lions Club welcomed Liam Vassar to their most recent club meeting to speak on his experience at the Lions camp in Kerrville. His attendance was sponsored by the Lions Club.
Liam told the Club about several activities he enjoyed during his stay. Kayaking, fishing, star gazing and woodworking were just a few of the things campers got to experience while in attendance. Liam said it was a “great week”, and he met many new friends as well.
Also in attendance at Monday’s meeting was Past District Governor Johanna Elliott (seated right). She spoke to the Club about the Texas Lions Eyeglass Recycling program.
The Columbus Lions Club meets the first four Monday’s each month at Schobels at 12:00. The meetings are open to the public for more information on how to become a Lion.
