First National of Eagle Lake breaks ground on home office

The First National Bank of Eagle Lake is proud to announce the August 8th groundbreaking ceremony for their new home office, which will be located at 1220 E Main St Eagle Lake, Texas. The project is the single largest investment in the history of this bank. It is a necessary step toward strengthening operational efficiency and a commitment set by the bank towards continuing to provide financial services for Colorado and Wharton Counties.

The First National Bank of Eagle Lake is proud to announce the August 8th groundbreaking ceremony for their new home office, which will be located at 1220 E Main St Eagle Lake, Texas. The project is the single largest investment in the history of this bank. It is a necessary step toward strengthening operational efficiency and a commitment set by the bank towards continuing to provide financial services for Colorado and Wharton Counties.

This new facility was designed by Cutright & Prihoda Inc, architects out of LaGrange Texas. It will continue to have some of the original 1904 bank building Architectural features.

Polasek Construction Inc, out of El Campo Texas was selected as the general contractor for the new facility. The bank building will be a new addition to the east side of Eagle Lake, as travelers coming west from Houston on Highway 90-A will be able to look upon the new building.

The first National Bank donated the current downtown building to the City of Eagle Lake for future use as a consolidated office facility. On hand for the ceremony were bank board members, bank executives, county officials, chamber of commerce members, representatives of Cutright and Prihoda and representatives of Polasek Construction.
