LA GRANGE — A charter member of the Colorado Valley Quilt Guild during a recent presentation gave members plenty of ideas about storing and planning for future quilts.

Kristi Asbill, a charter member of the guild who has been quilting for more than 45 years, provided members with a few of her pointers during the session.

She also brought a collection of her scrap quilts for fellow quilters to admire, according to a news release.

The guild meets the fourth Tuesday of each month at the Randolph Recreation Center, 653 E. Pearl St., Room A East.

The gatherings begin at 6 p.m. on even months and 10 a.m. on odd months.

“The meetings are open to the public, so grab a friend and come learn more about this wonderful service organization,” a spokeswoman said.
