MAY 22, 2023

At 9:30am, Deputy Mayfield reponsed to the Sheriff’s Office in reference to a report of Fraudulent Use or Possession of Identifying Information. Case is pending further investigation.

At 9:15 am, Deputy Melendez was dispatched to the 1000 block of Flower Hill Road in reference to Illegal Dumping. The reporting party state unknown person(s) disposed of trash on her property without her knowledge or consent. The case will be inactive until additional information can be developed.

MAY 22, 2023

At 11:21 pm, Deputy Villanueva was notified of a wanted subject with an outstanding Felony warrant issued in Colorado County who was observed working an extra job assignment for off duty Peace Officers in Rosenberg. After further investigation, Christopher Allen Cannon, 37 of Richmond, was arrested on the outstanding Felony warrant by the Rosenberg Police Department, and subsequently charged with Impersonating a Public Servant, 3rd Degree Felony. Case cleared by agency assist.

At 6:15 pm, Deputy Melendez conducted a traffic stop on IH-10 near the 699 mile marker EB. After further investigation, Eliezer Marcos Aldonado III, 22 of San Antonio, was arrested for an outstanding warrant on a Probation Violation (Obstruct Police) out of Bexar County. Case cleared by arrest.

MAY 23, 2023

At 11:49 pm, Deputy Ohl was dispatched to the area of Business Hwy 71 and Kurtz Road in reference to a motor vehicle accident. On arrival, it was determined that a vehicle had struck livestock. The owner of the livestock cannot be identified at this time. Case will be inactive until additional information can be developed.

MAY 24, 2023

At 11:26 pm, Deputy Gorman was patrolling Hwy 90 near Alleyton and initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation. After further investigation, Michael Herring, 42 of Willis, was arrested for Possession Controlled Substance PG1>1g<4g- 3rd Degree Felony, Unlawful Carrying Weapon – Class A Misdemeanor, and Possession Drug Paraphernalia – Class C Misdemeanor. Case cleared by adult arrest.

MAY 25, 2023

At 11:50 am, Deputy Johnson was dispatched to 2200 Niles St in Rock Island in reference to a Public Nuisance Complaint. Case is pending 30 day compliance/removal of public nuisance.

At 12:48 pm, Deputy Nino was dispatched to Smith Raw Road in Columbus in reference to a Theft that appears to be a civil matter at this time. Case will be inactive until additional information indicates otherwise.

MAY 26, 2023

At 10:28 am, Deputy Argo was dispatched to FM 333 at Mustang Creek in regards to illegal dumping. After further investigation, the suspect was identified and subsequently issued a citation or illegal dumping. Case cleared by citation.

At 12:05 pm, Deputy Villanueva was dispatched to the Happy Oaks RV Park in Alleyton in response to a theft that occurred. Case is pending further investigation.

At 4:34 pm, Deputy Melendez was dispatched to the 1600 block of Brushy Road. Shortly after Justice of the Peace Pct 3, Don Cark arrived on scene to conduct an inquest in reference to a death investigation. The manner of death will be determined subsequent to an autopsy at the Travis County Medical Examiner, case is pending.

MAY 27, 2023

At 11:17 pm, Deputy Cantu conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of FM 3013 and Strickland Lane in Eagle Lake. After investigating the subject a citation was issued for several traffic violations and possession of Drug Paraphernalia, case cleared.

MAY 28, 2023

At 9:40 pm, Deputy Melendez responded to the 1400 block of Business Hwy 71 in reference to a welfare check concerning two juveniles that were left at the residence without adult supervision. Children’s Protective Services ( CPS ), was notified and the case was cleared.

At 11:11 pm, Deputy Cantu was dispatched to Hwy 71 and FM 1890 in Columbus in reference to an intoxicated driver parked in the roadway. The driver was Allen Lee Auldridge , (46) of Port Aransas who was arrested for driving while intoxicated and 3rd offense. Case cleared by arrest.
