COLUMBUS – The Wellness Council has announced the following meeting dates as they prepare to hold their monthly meetings again starting in August after a brief summer break.
The upcoming dates and topics are Aug. 10 “Learn About Available Resources and Networking Partners” and an update about upcoming Housing and Transportation Needs Assessment (Texas A&M University School of Public Health); Sept. 14 - “Suicide Prevention Awareness”; Oct. 12 - “Bullying Prevention Awareness” and discuss an art contest (details coming); Nov. 9 - “Gratitude Awareness-Be Thankful.”
The meetings will be held the second Thursday of each month at noon. All meetings are open to the public and take place on the first floor of the Colorado County Courthouse.
