Back to School Bash set for Aug. 5

EAGLE LAKE – The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension office invites the public to attend a Back to School Bash at the Eagle Lake Community Center, 100 N. Walnut Ave., on Aug. 5 to get ready for the school year.

The event will be from 10 a.m. to noon, featuring vision checks, screenings, education, activities, health assessments, resources, hygiene products, door prizes, snow cones, free items and more. Door prize drawings will be held throughout the event. Individuals must be present to win.

The AgriLife Extension office said a parent must accompany children to participate in screenings.

The event is brought to the public by Amerigroup.
