Colorado County Lunch-N-Learn Series starts next week

COLUMBUS – Colorado County members of the Bluebonnet Master Gardener Association are preparing to host their Lunch-N-Learn Series focused on gardening and horticulture.

Registration will open at 11:50 a.m. with the program starting at 12:05 p.m. and ending by 12:55 p.m. Attendees are asked to bring their own lunch. Light refreshments including coffee, tea and snacks will be provided. No preregistration is required for this free program.

Programs will be held on the third Wednesday of each month at the Colorado County Services Facility, 305 Radio Lane. The program line-up is listed as follows: July 19 – Monarchs and Native Milkweeds, Aug. 16 – Water Management in the Garden and Landscape, Sept. 20– Texas Superstar Plants and Native Plants, Oct. 18– Winter Gardening and Companion Plants, and Nov. 18 – Food Preservation – How to Store Excess Garden Produce.
