LA GRANGE – CVQG recently hosted their “best little trunk show,” where guild members brought in their favorite quilts for a small show and tell.
The CVQG had accepted a challenge of “How many Adult Shirt Protectors can you make?” As of June 27, CVQG reports that over 400 adult shirt protectors have been made. The guild said they distributed 130 to the Columbus/Weimar area and 147 have been distributed in the Schulenburg area. The guild members reported to have brought in over 153 more to the guild meeting this Tuesday night. The guild invites the public to come learn more about their organization and the various charitable work they do.
The Colorado Valley Quilt Guild meets the fourth Tuesday of each month at the Randolph Recreation Center, 653 East Pearl St., Room A East, LaGrange, Texas 78945.
