Columbus High School has several players participating in summer ball with select teams as they compete and hone their skills to prepare themselves for their upcoming varsity season. Wyatt Tipton is a sophomore for Columbus High School that has been participating in select baseball for the 15U age group. Columbus High School has several players participating in summer ball with select teams as they compete and hone their skills to prepare themselves for their upcoming varsity season. Wyatt Tipton is a sophomore for Columbus High School that has been participating in select baseball for the 15U age group. He contributed to a strong tournament run during the Results Baseball Showcase that started on June 23.

Tipton and the USA Prime Black Sox played against a field of other 15U teams as well as 16U and 17U teams, competing against several different older age groups. The Prime Black Sox did not lose a single game throughout the 3-day tournament and completed their championship run with a big win at Blinn College. Tipton found many ways to help his team achieve the accomplishment, spending time at third base, left outfield and on the mound as a pitcher.
