EAGLE LAKE – The Senior Dances that take place monthly at the Eagle Lake Community Center, 100 W. Walnut, are still in full swing.

On the first Friday night of each month, a band plays for guests to dance to a variety of music. Here is the schedule, provided by the organizers, with each band, so you will not miss any the remainder dances this year: On Friday, July 7, the band, This Is It will be performing. On Aug. 4, Blue Denim will be performing. Scot Wilkinson & EZ Country will perform on Sept. 1, the Boogie Allen Band will perform Oct. 6, and Blue Denim will perform again on Nov. 3. The entertainment for December will be provided later.

The dances kick off at 7:30 p.m. and end around 10:30 p.m. Tickets are $10. Money collected goes towards the band and the city. The dances were started by Helen and Harry Supak. As previously reported, people come from near and far to dance and meet those in attendance.
