Assisted living facilities celebrate Father’s Day

On Thursday, June 15, the Arbor Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Eagle Lake served nachos and had games for residents to help celebrate fathers.

Bobbie Jo Contreras and a group of volunteers were in attendance to help make the day successful. They gave away prizes to residents, played music, and gave fathers cards, tootsie roll packages, and a care package.

Contreras said she and her volunteers also went to the Oak Bluff Village apartments in Columbus on Friday, June 16, to help celebrate fathers there.
