CVQG hosts “Forensics of Quilting” presentation

LA GRANGE – On Tuesday, June 27, at 6 p.m. the Colorado Valley Quilt Guild will welcome Jammie Ackley, who will present on “Forensics of Quilting.”

Ackley’s program and trunk show will visually break down the components of a block, helping attendees understand that most blocks are easier than many may think. CVQG said Ackley’s quilts are always fun and really fantastic.

Ackley is from Trinity, Texas and is a professiona l long arm quilter and certified instructor for Studio 180 Design, according to a release.

The Colorado Valley Quilt Guild meets the fourth Tuesday of each month at the Randolph Recreation Center, 653 East Pearl St., Room A East, La Grange, Texas 78945. Guild meetings are open to the public and begin at 6 p.m. on even months and 10 a.m. on odd months.
