Hopkins drew some of that attention as a consistent player in the Columbus Little League softball teams throughout her career. At 12 years old, Hopkins currently plays for two Columbus little league teams as well as the ST Explosion select team of La Grange. While Hopkins has skills at other positions on the field, most of her specialized work falls in the catcher category as her participation in the AACCC was just one of the camps she gained an invitation to this summer. She also received an invitation to the Jen Schro Catchers Retreat in Anaheim, CA if the Majors team is free from play at that time.
