CDA garage sale June 15-16

COLUMBUS – The Catholic Daughters of Columbus will hold their seventh annual garage sale on Friday, June 15 from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Saturday June 16 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. at St. Anthony School Gym, 600 Wallace St.

Donated items will be accepted at the gym 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 13 and Wednesday, June 14.

Proceeds from the sale will be used to fund church and school projects and senior scholarships.

In the past, CDA said it had over 100 families donate items for the sale.

ChalleNGe Academy graduation set

ALTAIR – The Texas ChalleNGe Academy Class 2022-2 will graduate Saturday, June 17 at Rice Consolidated High School, U.S. 90 Alternate.

The graduation will take place in the high school’s gym at 10 a.m.

TCA asks for military to dress in service attire and civilians in business attire.

Those interested in attending are asked to RSVP by June 9.
