The Columbus KC Council 2971 recently deposited a $5,000 into the Matching Funds Campaign account at Fayette Savings Bank for the benefit of the Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hostyn, Texas, rebuilding fund.

The proceeds were raised from the Columbus KCs’ March 26 pork steak drive through dinner.

The bank said donations over $5,000 can be dedicated to the “matching side” of the campaign where they are used to match regular donations from the public. Donations may be made at any of the four Fayette Savings Bank locations in La Grange, Flatonia, Schulenburg or Weimar.

According to a release, the Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church was destroyed by an explosion and fire the morning of June 9, 2022.
