COLUMBUS – During the Magnolia Days Festival, the current Magnolia Belles were presented to the public on Friday evening, May 19, at the Stafford Opera House.

Several former Magnolia Belles attended this year’s presentation during Columbus’ Bicentennial celebration, and in honor of that celebratory milestone, CHPT captured their photograph together with the 2023 Magnolia Belles.

The Columbus Historical Preservation Trust, Inc. has presented Magnolia Belles since 1964, making the 2023 Belles the 59th group of young women presented annually. CHPT said it intends to continue this tradition for years to come.

Any young ladies interested in participating in the Magnolia Belle program are invited to attend the next orientation session scheduled for 9:30 a.m. at the Stafford Opera House on Saturday, June 10.
