MAR 17
At 8:10 p.m., Benjamen Melendez was dispatched to S Front Street in Glidden in reference to a Theft. There is no suspect at this time. Case will be inactive until additional information can be developed.
At 8:54 p.m., Benjamen Melendez responded to the 1100 block of CR 104 in reference to a Theft. Case is pending further investigation.
MAR 18
At 12:02 p.m., Jeffery Argo was dispatched to Franke Road in New Ulm in regards to a complainant wanting a Criminal Trespass Warning. After further investigation, one subject was issued a Criminal Trespass Warning. Case cleared.
At 1:06 p.m., Jeffery Argo was dispatched to Tractor Supply Company in Alleyton in regards to a Theft that occurred the night before. Case is pending further investigation.
At 10:56 p.m., Benjamen Melendez conducted a traffic stop on Hwy 90 near 10th Street in Glidden. The driver refused to comply with lawful commands. After further investigation, Kendric Cordelle Thompson, 42 of Glidden, was arrested for Reckless Driving and Interference with Public Duties. Case cleared by arrest.
MAR 19
At 1:04 p.m., Frankie Cantu was dispatched to the Frebo Ranch on Hwy 71 in reference to a damaged excavator. The case will be inactive until additional leads are developed.
At 3:39 p.m., Jeffery Argo was dispatched to W Sixth Street in Sheridan in regards to a shot dog that was attacking chickens and ducks in a pen. The owner of the dog was notified about the animal attack. Case is cleared by information.
MAR 20
At 8:26 a.m., Randy Mican was dispatched to the 1300 block of Hwy 90A in Sheridan in reference to a reported Theft of a trailer and welding machine. Case is pending.
MAR 21
At 8:50 a.m., Santa Nino was dispatched to Cushen Street in Rock Island in reference to a stolen vehicle. Case is pending further investigation.
At 8:51 a.m., Santa Nino was dispatched to FM 950 under the Colorado River Bridge in reference to illegal dumping. The case will be inactive until a suspect can be identified.
At 11:09 a.m., Randy Mican responded to a complainant that called to report a Theft in the 3000 block of FM 102 near Eagle Lake. Case is pending further investigation.
At 6:43 p.m., Jacob Gorman was contacted in reference to two subjects trespassing at the Lone Star Inn on Hwy 90 near Alleyton. After further investigation, two subjects were issued Criminal Trespass Warnings and vacated the property. Case is cleared.
MAR 22
At 9:12 a.m., Jeffery Argo was dispatched to Best Block in Alleyton in reference to a Theft. Argo went to the location and was advised they needed a report for a replacement plate from Tennessee Department of Revenue. It is the license plate was lost or stolen. There are no suspects in this case. Case is place inactive until additional information is developed.
At 9:44 a.m., Robert Villanueva was dispatched to the 1000 block of Ramsey Road in reference to property damage (fence). Case will be inactive until additional information can be developed.
At 10:36 a.m., Robert Villanueva was dispatched to the 1300 block of Old Altair Road in reference to a Theft. Case is pending further investigation.
MAR 24
At 1:31 a.m., Frankie Cantu conducted a traffic stop near the 200 block of South McCarthy Avenue in Eagle Lake. After further investigation, Heivert Nicolas Ramirez-Rodriquez, 20 of Eagle Lake, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence, No Driver’s License, and Fail to maintain Financial Responsibility. Case cleared by arrest.
At 7:42 a.m., Randy Mican responded to a complainant that someone drove through his fence in the 700 block of Calhoun Road near Eagle Lake. As a result, the complainant’s cattle were out on the roadway. Mican collected evidence and located the suspect vehicle. After further investigation, one subject was issued a citation for No Driver’s License and Immediate Report of Accident (failure to report). An agreement to pay for damages were made between the complainant and driver. Case cleared.
At 1:45 p.m., Randy Mican met with a complaint who reported someone kicked the door in on their storage building in Sheridan. It was determined that some valuable glassware were stolen from the property. Case is pending further investigation.
At 9:47 p.m., Tyler Pavlicek conducted a traffic stop on Fannin Street near Dewees in Columbus. After further investigation, Jason McCoy. 46 of Fayetteville, was arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Expired Motor Vehicle Registration. Case cleared by arrest.
At 9:03 a.m., Randy Mican met with a complainant that reported a male subject at her house on FM 102 near Eagle Lake, who was doing work and she didn’t want him there. Mican arrived and saw a male subject cleaning her yard. The complainant signed a criminal trespass warning to be issued to the subject. When Mican went out of the house to issue the criminal trespass warning, the subject had already left. The subject was identified. Case is pending further action.
MAR 25
At 7:15 p.m., Zane Blaha was dispatched to FM 949 in reference to a vehicle wrecked in the ditch. After further investigation, Sean Preston Dulaney, 43 of Eagle Lake , was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated 2nd Offense, Class A Misdemeanor. Case cleared by arrest.
MAR 26
At 3:56 p.m., Randy Mican met with a complainant that called requesting a Criminal trespass Warning for property in Sheridan. Case is pending further investigation.
At 6:27 p.m., Tyler Pavlicek met with a victim at the Sheriff’s Office in reference to a stolen boat. The boat was entered into State and National database. Case will be inactive until additional information leads can be developed.
MAR 27
At 10:52 p.m., Benjamen Melendez conducted a traffic stop on FM 102 at Sundermann Road. After further investigation, the driver was issued a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Case cleared.
MAR 28
At 5:23p.m., Ryan Ohl assisted the Columbus Police Department with a Theft at Potter’s Western Store that resulted in a pursuit which ended in Flatonia after the suspect vehicle tires were spiked. It was unknown at the time of the pursuit that there was a small child unrestrained in the vehicle. The stolen property from Potter’s and Tractor Supply Company was recovered and later returned to the businesses. After further investigation, the driver, Heath Allen Dorris, 39 of Livingston, was arrested for Evading Arrest or Detention with a Vehicle, 3rd Degree Felony, Endangering a Child, State Jail Felony, Theft of Property with Previous Convictions, State Jail Felony, and outstanding warrants issued in Chambers County for Continuous Family Violence, and Family Violence Assault Impede Breath/Circulation. Additionally, 2 passengers, Marlene Kaye Mitcham, 35 of Waller, was arrested for outstanding warrants issued in Brazos County for Assault on EMS Personnel, and Criminal Mischief, $2,500 to $30k; and Gigit Nicole Fregia, 38 of Saratoga, was arrested for outstanding warrants issued in Liberty County for Possession of Controlled Substance, Driving While License Invalid, and Violate Promise to Appear. The child was later released to the grandmother and Children’s Protective Services was notified of the incident. Case cleared by arrests.
MAR 29
At 1:52 a.m., Benjamen Melendez was dispatched to Hwy 71 near Schobel Road in reference to a subject lying in the middle of the roadway. The subject was located at the intersection of Hwy 71 near Marek Road and had been struck by a vehicle. The vehicle left the scene and the victim was transported by EMS to station1 with serious injuries and later air lifted to Dell Hospital in Austin for treatment. Case is pending.
At 11:30 a.m., Randy Mican was called to a vehicle in Borden Lake on Hwy 90 east of Weimar. The driver suffered a medical episode causing him to drive into the lake. The driver was transported to the hospital by EMS for treatment. Case cleared.
At 6:35 a.m., Justin Lindemann was contacted by a complainant about a past incident that occurred on CR 16 in Altair. After further investigation, it was determined that an unknown male subject had made a threat. Case cleared; information only at this time.
MAR 30
At 3:43 p.m., Santa Nino was dispatched to Dittmar Road in Cat Spring in reference to a suicide attempt. It was determined the subject had cut himself. The subject was transported by POV to the TA truckstop and later air lifted to Memorial Hermann Downtown by PHI. Case cleared by report.
At 5:21 p.m., Tyler Pavlicek was dispatched to FM 109 near Nartinek Road in reference to property damage. On arrival, the victim that approximately 200-300 yards of his uncle’s barbed wire fence was cut. The case will be inactive until additional leads can be developed.
