COLUMBUS – After a delay due to the weather, the fifth-grade classes of Columbus Elementary School and St. Anthony Catholic School will now be able to bury a time capsule at the Courthouse on May 23 at 2 p.m.
Items that the students will bury have been on display at the Columbus First State Bank. Some of the items include a Habitat for Humanity birdhouse, Columbus Bicentennial items, a recipe book, T-shirt, and more.
The Citizen will go to press before the time capsule burial takes place, so make sure you subscribe so you do not miss any highlights from the event in the May 31 edition.
