Weimar Lions present scholarship recipients

WEIMAR – At their meeting on Tuesday, May 16, the Weimar Lions recognized their scholarship winners.

Chistopher Moreno, Weimar High School Salutatorian announced that he is heading to Texas A&M Kingsville for an engineering degree with oil field aspirations.

Brett Sestak, Sacred Heart Valedictorian, said he is heading to the University of Texas at Austin to study computer science with the hope of helping society with more accessible technology developments.

Charles (Brady) Henke, Weimar High School Valedictorian, said he is heading to Dodge City Community College for baseball aspirations with industrial engineering as a backup.

Abigail Hilley from Weimar High School said she is heading to the University of Texas at San Antonio to pursue a bio-chemistry degree with dental hygiene aspirations.

The Lions would like to congratulate all of their high school graduates.
